
Description The video shows a junior rower of the Swiss national rowing team. On the upper half "correct" rowing is shown. On the lower half three different rowing error states are sequently shown: The first error state demonstrates too high lifted arms during the drive phase (= the oar is in the water). The second error state is a typical beginners error: the arms exert too early. Finally, the third error state shows too high lifted shoulders in the middle of the drive phase. Marker cluster, i.e. rigidly fixed on a plate, were used to track movements of the head, thorax, upper arms and forearms.
